This receipt estimates how much of your property tax bill supports Weld Re-8 School District (Fort Lupton) and how those dollars are used. It starts with your home's market value and applies the district's 2025–26 school operating mill levy (including the district's two voter-approved mill levy overrides, but excluding long-term bond payments) to estimate your annual school taxes.
The tool then breaks that amount into major parts of Weld Re-8's operating budget—classroom instruction, instructional support, school operations and maintenance, transportation, and districtwide administration—using the spending shares from the 2025–26 adopted General Fund. It does not include bond-debt payments for buildings or the rest of your county, city, and special-district property taxes, so it's a focused look at the operating portion Weld Re-8 can use for day-to-day school services.
